Tania’s inspiration is cultivated from her time studying in the Cote D’Azur and from the many beautiful moments with family on the Adriatic seacoast. Colours of the sea and seaside beaches, landscape, shapes, people, water activities, and fashion defined her internal state and the impermanence of the world around her.

EDUCATION
Tania is a cultural facilitator, forging new connections between fine art, design, education, history, film and technology. She has carved a path for herself that is as much intellectual as designer and visual artist. Tania is educated in visual art and art history from McMaster university and chemistry at Waterloo university. She is also a graduate of the PGCE/PGCertEd from Exeter University, UK.

ART PRESERVATION
Tania’s well-rounded interests included the preservation of art. She apprenticed as a Painting Conservator at the Royal Ontario Museum and with Elizabeth Shamrock Painting Conservation, in Hamilton Ontario. She assisted Elizabeth Shamrock in preserving “The Settlement of Canada” paintings by Canadian artist
Frederick Stanley Haines (1879-1960). These large paintings are a permanent collection hanging at the Enercare Centre, Toronto, Ontario.

FASHION and DESIGN
A designer in her own right, Tania made an impact in the film industry as an Art Director, Set Decorator, Set Dresser and Props-Master. She has a love for home decor including the design of custom wall mosaics and murals. A fashion trender herself, Tania creates fashion accessories and has shown and sold her work in various vendor settings such as the “One of a Kind Show” and the “Muskoka Arts and Crafts” show. She continues to design patterns for fabrics, teach and push the boundaries of the architectural shapes contrived into the Painted Wood Construction
